Labs
The Academic Technology Mall (ATM), located on the 5th floor of the Harvey Library, provides computer needs for the University. Unless otherwise noted, regular hours of operation are:
- Sunday 3:00p.m.-11:45pm
- Monday-Thursday 8:30a.m.- 11:45pm
- Friday 8:30a.m. - 4:45pm
- Saturday 9:00a.m. - 4:45pm
PC workstations are provided in the ATM for student usage. In order to use the ATM student lab, a current University ID is required. Cell phone use is not permitted in the ATM lab and all students must adhere to the Appropriate Use of Technology, the University’s Code of Conduct and the University Dress Code.
E-mail accounts are provided to all enrolled students and may be access on HU Net. Problems with email accounts should be reported to the ATM Help Desk, at x6931. All email accounts provided by the University can be cancelled indefinitely for any violation of the University’s Appropriate Use of Technology Policy. You must utilize your university issued email address to conduct any form of university business electronically, whether you are sending or receiving messages. Using any other email address from Yahoo, AOL, etc., may not result in a response or action.
Blackboard 6 is a Web-based Course Management System that allows instructors additional tools to enhance online course learning. Instructors and students can access materials at any time (24hours/ 7 days a week) from any computer with an internet connection.
